Amazon has Valvoline 20w-50, VR1 on sale (6 qts @ $35.41) and if you buy two cases (enough for an oil change and maybe a quart or two) they will deliver it to your door with FREE shipping. The VR1 oil has ZDDP additive to protect your Montreal's cams and followers from excessive wear, I believe.

Amazon.com: Valvoline (VV211-6PK) VR1 SAE 20W-50 Racing Motor Oil - 1 Quart Bottle, (Case of 6): Automotive

Just ordered my two cases! Thanks for finding this deal and sharing it Mark!
My pleasure! Amazon's price beat the local Advanced Auto and Autozone price of almost $9/qt and neither place had any in stock. Now Advanced has it for $6/qt (same as we paid) but we don't have to go pick it up; it comes to us. Also, I was fortunate to have a $25 Amazon gift card that I got to use so I effectively paid $4/qt for the good stuff!

Richard Jemison built my engine and after his recommended break in with 15-40 Shell Rotella T (diesel) oil, I will run with the Valvoline!
You'll get this at $4.738/ quart.
3x5 QUARTS JUG
Cool. Let me buy one before you guys hoard them all. lol!
I’m thirsty for zinc, VR-1$1.49 each from Autozone a couple years ago

about 75 quarts here I think. Just the Dino oil, I left the synthetics for the water cooled guys. 😊

Guys, guys. It's even cheaper now.
Should I hoarder more.
It's a stupid question but shelf life of this is like a million years right? It won't go bad.
No, it won't go bad. I hoarded quite a bit.
It likely has a set shelf life. I would guess 4-5 years. Over time, among other things, the additive package will settle out. Shelf life might be listed on the vr1 sds.
Just looked, sds doesn’t list it, Valvoline website says there is no documented expiry date, if it’s old to just shake it to redispurse the settled components...
Geez! My bottled water just expired! Good thing my distilled water and TP has no expiration date! :)

I just bought the case of three a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a great price.
Exactly like me. Now I'm thinking on stocking up. Like the toilet paper :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
