Is there a thread on setting/checking valve clearance on the 164S engines?
I've searched and did not find anything here on the BB.

Thank you,
James

Lots of posts on checking/setting valve clearances but hard to have a good tutorial I am afraid. I was trying to find one I may have posted on doing it on an engine in the car but alas not much of actual process.
Basically you have to remove intake plenum off rear head, remove both valve covers, remove R/F wheel and inner fender liner, remove sparkplugs to make engine turn clockwise easier with 41mm socket on crank pulley to slowly rotate engine to get each valve you want to check clearance on fully closed so heel of intake/exhaust cam lobe aligned with tappet faces. I make a chart in the order the valves and cylinder numbers are placed in the heads looking from front of engine . For rear head it is EX 1 IN, EX 2 IN, and EX 3 IN
and for front head IN 4 EX, IN 5 EX, and IN 6 EX to record clearances as I rotate engine clockwise with socket wrench on crank pulley.
