Are the fuel filters for the V6 the same as for the TS 4Cyl? I have a TS installed in an Alfetta and wanted to change the fuel filter for one more suited to a FI engine. I ordered a V6 filter here in the US and when it came, it seemed pretty big. See image. I was wondering if the 4Cyl TS has a smaller filter.

Can't tell from the picture how big this is. Give us a diameter and I'll measure mine up for you.

It's 74mm diameter and 106mm long.

Just got home and crawled under mine. 52mm diameter and 90mm long.

Thanks. Any reason why a similarly sized filter for a 2L FI engine would be a bad idea? I was thinking of visiting the car parts store and choosing an inline filter from another application.

Not really. It's a normal Bosch fuel injected car running the normal pressure and doesn't have a collossal amount of power so any filter for a car with over 150bhp will do the job.
