Alfa docs show that 01911 engines were fitted to the GTV6 and Milano with the GTV6 getting A0, A5 & A6 variants. My spreadsheet does not (yet?) list the Milano A variant(s) but an A7 would not be an unreasonable guess.

The 164 L, CA and S models came with 6412Tx engines.

I've always been told this is a 2.5

I would be shocked to hear it is a 3.0.

I think it came out of a 75 or Milano in these shores.

Thanks all for chiming in. Oh, its for sale BTW.

AR01911 engine is a 2.5L model 75 engine for AU market according to Fiat EPer CD I have.

AR01646 is 2.5L for GB market.

AR 06120, 06124 and 61503 are 3.0L variants for the 75.

As for the 164 chrome tubes on it I suspect somebody put them on it so they could use engine maybe in a spider.
