I am currently fitting an 8 valve Twin Spark into my 1974 Coupe, it using carbs and an 8 wire distributor . I was going to change the camshafts but have designed a system to activate the VVT system at around 2,000 revs so am planning to run with the standard Twin Spark camshafts , however from information I have read in the standard set up the VVT system is then de-activated at around 4,500 revs .... can anyone tell me why please ?
