Turn signals not working

Hello-turn signals & hazards stopped working on my ‘74 Spider. Would anyone know which fuse # would be related to the turn signals, #6? Also, where is the flasher relay is located. I’m afraid it might be the whole flasher unit but want to try these two first. Would anyone know if when actuating the turn signal lever up or down is it supposed to click or have some resistance; mine is very fluid, no click or resistance, up or down. It was like that even when it was working.
thank you for any assistance

Not sure on a 74, but on my 86, it's the bottom right relay on the fuse box. First thing I'd check is the grounds. I had issues with mine when I put my car back together and forgot the grounds by the headlights and taillights. Yours might just be dirty.
Thank you, will try it..Richard
The turn signal stalks don't have much resistance to them over time, but thats just the return. The electrical connection should still be good. Sounds like its the flasher unit. In my 78 the flasher and relay are one unit.
On the 72's/73's, the turn signal is off of fuses 7 and 8. I doubt they changed much for the 74's. Check the fuses and clean the connections. Make sure you have good brass/copper fuses in there. You can also spray some electrical contact cleaner in the turn signal stalk itself and see if that helps. Since neither works it sounds like a power issue though.
Richard,
I would check that the two brass terminal ends in the fuse box are clean, tight and snug to the fuse. Most of the time loose, dirty ends are the culprit of no signals.
I'd second the comment on clean all of the grounds. Then check the flasher unit. There are various guides on how to replace the OEM hard to find and expensive Bosch unit with a newer electronic one. At one point when I activated my turn signals the side marker lights flashed. Weird. Once I cleaned up all of the grounds things got back to normal.
