Anyone have a wiring diagram of where the sensor plugs into the wiring harness? I've been driving mine with no sensor for years and decided to install one.

Also, does it require a specific TwinSpark sensor, or just any generally available Motronic sensor?

Thanks all!

1978alfa- it will make things easier if you get the original sensor, as opposed to a generic type, because it will have the correct length harness and correct plug so you won't have to source additional parts and/or do any soldering/splicing of wires, etc.
The resistance value of the sensor circuit is critical as the ECU sees only +/- 5v range, and does not tolerate sloppy solder joints, wire crimps, etc. Someone more informed please correct me if I am wrong.
A little shopping online is worthwhile as I recall a wide range of pricing.

Hi 1978alfa - if you haven't already found it, sensor connectors (there are two) are behind the 'curtain' near the firewall, LHS by brake booster (in RHD version).
