Is there anybody out there that knows how to disassemble the "inner-spline-part" on a Alfa 75 TS inlet-camshaft ? I´m obout to move the variator to a new camshaft, that´s why.
It´s quite sensitive parts, is there a tool for this available ?

Well you can see all the tools here

That set are already sold but maybe the seller has more? Do you have the factory work shop manual for the twinspark engine ?

Ebay Germany and eBay NL are good sources for Factory Alfa tools.

You do not have to disassemble it to remove it. The big flange on the back can be used to unscrew it from the cam intact. Lock the cam in a vice and use a large pipe wrench to remove it. It`s locktited on so it takes a hard pull.

OK, I was worried using a pipe wrench on that surface - bot probably the only way to go then.
I was thinking of making a tool that works over the splines, based on a scrapped variator - but maybe the diameter is to small for this kind of torque.
Thank´s

Ok, now I think I get it. I have to assemble the variator again and remove it as a complete unit from the camshaft using tool 1822036 according to picture below ? Right ?
That´s probably the way to do it without destroying anything.
