Hellooooo, I am the proud NEW owner of an Alfa Romero series 4 Spider, 1991. The trunk cable has stopped working!!! Please help. Thank you KASHA McKee

Kasha, did you re-post this in the Spider section of the forum? I looked to see if you got an answer... not sure if you did. It will be a lot more visible there. Let me know, ok?

If you're lucky, the cable may have broken right down there at the lever. Take a screwdriver, remove the black plastic trim piece, and see if you can see the end of the cable sticking out of the sheath. If so, take pliers and carefully pull on the cable to open the trunk. If you're not so lucky, and the cable broke inside the trunk, there is still a method to get access.
