OK, all you terminology wonks, here's brain teaser for you: Are the "auxilliary air valve", the "idle control valve", and "idle speed actuator" all the same thing on a Series 4 (Motronic) Spider? David

I've usually seen AAV (Aux Air Valve) used to describe the unit used on the L-jet version (82-89).

I've also seen the unit on the Motronic Spiders called an idle stabilzer (in addition to idle control valve or idle actuator).

Clear as mud now?
