I just used Eastwood's slightly cheaper version of dynamat on my Berlina. I also used some thick (3/8"?) closed cell foam on top of that over the tunnel.
Hmmm... I just noticed the "soon to be a turbo" signature. What'd you do...put an automatic in there? If you did, I hope you didn't cut much of the tunnel away as it does help keep a spider from breaking in two!
