not burning any oil.....checked.... but to much pressure... oil vapor sep. it clean and working well...but with the oil cap loose on the valve cover , it will flutter, and if i press on it , i can feel the pressure oil pressure is great 3 bars hot at idle and 4-5 running down the road . i think my rings are going bad can i just re-ring the motor( after de-glazing the bores? )

just to rslice the pressure I am just running a hose from the valve cover to the air on the passenger side,just like the older cars

Wait, weren't you gonna sell this car? (sorry! :D)

If your OVS is really clear I can't see why adding an extra tube would help reduce pressure. Anyway, what are the symptoms? You just noticing pressure at the oil cap, or is the dipstick popping out and spraying oil or something?

If you really want to diagnose the rings, do a leak down test. If you have a compressor Harbor Freight has a leak down tester for like $40, or you can probably rent a better one.

I think you have a broken ring or ring land. Oil ring is ok.
