I have a set of 1960's Minilite wheels that use a dimensionally different kind of valve stem .

This stem, was the last one on the set, before getting sliced for the wheel resto.

Dimensions:
OAL : 47mm
Depth of valve hole in wheel: 15.25
ID: of valve in wheel: 15.5mm

Any ideas of potential source?

Regards, Alberto

Your best bet is going to be the metal ones. They are much better then the rubber ones today.

Todays rubber ones tend to rot much quicker due to the lower quality rubber they are made out of.

I even use the metal ones on all my trailers now.

When I took my Major Melber's in to get new tires, the old valve stems all broke off. Discount Tire replaced them with new ones at no extra charge. I suspect a good tire shop will have different stem sizes and something that will fit, or they could order them. If those stems are more than a few years old, I would recommend replacing all of them.
