Greetings folks. I'm knee-deep in replacing my outer and middle sills and could use a little input. When comparing the profile of my new vs old middle sills, I'm finding that the lower flange has a less acute bend to it vs. original. What this is translating to is approx a 3/8" gap between it and the inner sill where it will attach (hopefully my drawing will help illustrate what I'm getting at.) I don't have a metal brake that can handle this large of a piece of 16ga steel, and I wonder if others have come up with a good way of addressing this issue? I tried clamping it down yesterday and muscling it, but to no avail. Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch.
