Is the notched top dead center tooth on crank pulley lined up with timing mark on engine front cover mark? Is the mark on front cam at 72.5 degrees (11 o'clock) as shown on my template picture and rear cam now at almost 90 degrees (3 o'clock)? If so all the valves are closed on both heads. That is good news! Now what you have to do is put clothes pin on the front cam pulley to keep belt on front pulley and tight between front pulley and crankshaft cog gear.

Get a 22mm (7/8") wrench or socket wrench so you can rotate rear cam back to 69 degree (1 o'clock) timing mark on template once you loosen nuts holding tensioner so you can get some play in timing belt.

Alfisto Steve, My back cam was 90degrees 3o'clok yesterday when I thought there was a problem. The timing mark is now at 69degrees already. Maybe that was the slack coming out when I saw the point shift as I did it this time?
