I've just checked the valve clearances on my 1968 1750 and found them to be a little off spec. Inlet were all 0.016" and exhaust 0.018-0.019". Is that bad enough to do something about or should I leave well alone?

This is a UK motor and I'm assuming the cams are stock items - is it possible to check the part number with the cams in place?

If stock cams they are correct at .016 & .018. They do not have to be as loose as factory spec.
The factory cam is 10548 03200 01. It is moulded into the cam lobes.
