... Confortevole ?
No, this is a Spider, the Confortevole's were a short run of 199/200 Sprints in early '58

My comment about a "lightweight' Spider was in fun about how little is left to weigh in

Chris I see the big Veloce front brakes but I also see the large rear drums & the Giulia instruments - is this a '64 Giulia Spider Veloce ??

Chris I see a bare bones frame of a LWB Spider there... & the pic of the double scoop hints that it was once a Veloce.... do I hear the sounds of an aluminium SVZ evocation in the making ??

Ciao
Greig
and disc brakes would indicate a veloce too

hard to believe anyone wants a spider enough to shovel cubic yards of cash into fixing up this wreck .

You didn’t answer which year this Spider rolled out of the factory. The steering box restoration has me wondering. Good luck on this one.

Did the chassis numbers get blasted too far to distinguish? That area looked like one of the few panels to have survived. Did all the spare parts come from this SV, or did you save it from a multi-Alfa owner home?

Nice work saving this one. Thank you for the photographic updates. My local shop was not as inspired time-wise (and knowledge-wise) when I hired them just to attend to the outside rockers, that’s for sure.
