Well, you've seen the car so you are a better judge, but "one owner, always garaged" is a nice plus and 90k mi. on a 164 isn't much at all... But I may be a little biased.

The Alfa Bug Bit Again
ok so i have been talking with this guy locally and he has a base model 164 with a bad water pump and needs a clutch (starting to slip) went and looked at the car today. i was going to buy it for parts but after getting there and looking at this 1 owner always garaged 90,000 mile car i have decided we must fix. it will make a great companion for my 92 l and **** they will look good side by side in the garage. wife may not be to happy but " It's all about the Alfa"1 - 7 of 7 Posts
Sounds good to me. Base models are great 164's as you may have noticed by another thread.
Wife will get over it. Make sure she drives the base model. She will love the seats and be very comfy in it. She will be happy.

My wife is waiting for me to find good one with automatic even if a L we will be putting Base seats in it. I have two L's both engine-less right now that I could with time and my spare parts make daily drivers but when you find one already in decent shape that only needs a little TLC it is a bit easier just to buy another one.
yea the car was in really good shape i am not sure if the wife is going to drive it or not. my l has 220,000 on the clock so i may give it a little rest take it out of the daily routine and i will drive the b. Sounds like a plan..
