Worked for me.
And it says something about lightness. The CLA 45 AMG has more displacement and puts another 100HP to the ground, but still cannot keep up with the featherweight 4C. Similar time to 60 (4.2 vs Alfa posted 4.5, but some have reported the 4C in the 4.1 to 4.2 second range).

I'll give the engineers at Alfa (Ferrari / Maserati) full credit.
The production and logistics on this side of the Atlantic, not so much.

Thats an amazing amount of HP being produced by the Merc, but I love to see a race between the Lancer and 4c. I think that would be a tight race...

Fun article I suppose, but there have been much faster 4cyl cars produced. Like this guy:



Homologation rules required they produce 200 roadgoing versions, so it wasn't just a race car. And a few of them got the Cosworth Evo engine with 700+ hp.
