I posted about my throttle cable possibly being disconnected (after a 6 month layoff- my 90 spider grad came back to life, but had no throttle response whatsoever)-

Thank you for the photos and ideas; I was able to figure out that the throttle body was locked up and just needed some WD-40 and some working through the range of throttle openings to get back to working again after freezing in position.

In anycase, of course there are thousands of other problems with it, but for now, it runs and is a blast in the Indy summer nights so thanks again for people helping me out-

Not sure if you're being contrite- but if you are- I'm not sure why some posts are ignored because it takes too long to reply and say use the search feature even if your name includes "newbie", while some posts asking if a "**** puckey yellow stripe" down the hood of someone's Alfa will generate several replies. Never have figured why...

Did you try using the search feature? If not, its a very useful tool, and you'll find many of the problems you'll have or have had have been covered in detail.

There are a few self proclaimed Alfa "gurus" who troll this bb willing to share their knowledge, but getting answers is sometimes like dating a fickle chick.
