I have used Tarkelp Classic Hand Soap for years - love the stuff - a little goes a long way and it is relatively gentle on your skin. It it hard to find and is superior in every way to gojo and stuff like that. And it is relatively inexpensive.

This stuff is fantastic.

We actually used to sell it but couldn't convince enough Alfa owners to try it, and eventually discontinued the product.

Classic or Clean+ preferred?

I like Joe's hand cleaner at O'reillys. Cleans Henry's Roof Cement off your hands and isn't harsh.

I get great results with Dawn dish washing detergent. Used by ASPCA to clean oil off sweet little birds. Is very gentle on the birdies.

I also have a box of blue hospital gloves. Don't last long, but OK if you put a good mechanics glover over them.

My favorite is a big tube of "Invisible Glove" a white cream that you rub on your hands and especially around your finger nails. Follow with Dawn and go to the Prom!
