SOLD...

Just cleaning up some of the left over parts and pieces from my restoration project and I have a spare tach that came with the car. I checked it and it does work, but appears to be showing about 500 RPM more at idle than the one that is installed.
The current tach shows about 900 RPM and this one shows about 1400 RPM.
Its clean and the face-plate, needle and glass are spotless.
It comes with the wiring kit that is complete with the bulbs and connectors.
Was asking $100 for it which includes shipping, does that seem unreasonable?
Any questions or offers, please PM me.
Thanks,
Les

tach

Les,
I could have picked the tach up a few weeks ago, we were in Los Lunas for a long weekend.

I am interested, but am doing some research to determine how to correct the deficiency in the reading given. It is possible there is a simple fix, I will let you know.

thanks,
John G

Hey John,
Here is a link I started last year that has the apparent solution to fix this issue.
When I put my car interior back together in the spring, I put this one in as it was much more pristine then the one I am currently using now. I actually didn't pay that much attention that it was incorrect until I took it to the local Alfa specialist here to set the valves and he made me aware of it.
I searched for a fix with the intentions of following through, but in the end, I found a guy in the ABQ area that cleans gauges and clusters and decided to go the safer route for me.
He did a nice job and it worked out well.
