I have a variety of new tab washers, most of which I am struggling to identify. Can anyone help?

There are seven types in total, listed according to the internal diameter:

  • 18.5mm - could be 2140.17.217 - for tunnel case gearbox?
  • 20.5mm - no internal tab - potentially 1365.32.055 - pinion flange
  • 25.5mm
  • 35.5mm - marked as 1356.32.136 - drive shaft outer wheel bearing - NB O/D 43.5mm
  • 35.5mm - as above but O/D is 45.5mm
  • 38.5mm
  • 61.0mm - could be 105 seat hinge mechanism?
Ideas welcome, thanks.

Alex.

Added a suggestion or two to the list.

Could someone help with measurements for the following?

2140.17.216 - lock ring for alloy engine fan/pulley onto water pump.
1315.14.013 - lock ring for crankshaft pulley, where secured with 'toothed' nut.
2140.17.217 - lock ring for rear end of gearbox layshaft (tunnel case only?).
102.00.17.217.00 - lock ring for gearbox output yoke.
1365.32.055 - lock ring for differential pinion flange.

Pretty sure that none of this info is on the BB, so an unofficial micro-list of these things might be a good idea.

2140.17.216 is shown with the following dimensions;

ID = 15.5mm
OD = 21mm
Tab Width = 4mm

This is the only locktab by part number from your lists shown in an Alfa published Hardware manual dated 5/72. All 7 locktabs shown in this manual carry a 2140.17.2xx part number.

The 25.5 ID tab might be 2140.17.220 if the OD is 35mm and the tab width is 5mm.

Thanks for this, Phil and Jim. I've also looked at Per Einarsson's wonderful scans of the 750/101 parts manuals and have found some more info.

Here are the results so far. Please feel free to measure and dispute! Areas of doubt are in cursive type.

1315.14.013 - size? - crankshaft pulley for early 750/101

1356.32.136 - potentially 35.5mm ID x 45.5mm OD - outer wheel bearing lock ring for early 105
1365.32.025 - measured as 35.5mm ID x 43.5mm OD (but see Alphil's note, above) - outer wheel bearing lock ring for 750/101
1365.32.055 - size? could be 20.5mm ID? - differential pinion flange/propshaft coupling for 750/101/early 105 - no internal tab shown in parts diagram

2140.17.216 - 15.5mm ID - alloy engine fan/pulley for 750?
2140.17.217 - 18.5mm ID - gearbox early 750/101
2140.17.219 - 22.5mm ID - gearbox early 750/101
2140.17.220 - 25.5mm ID - application?

102.00.17.217.00 - gearbox output yoke - 750/101/102/106

Part number? - 38.5mm ID - application TBC
Part number? - 61.0mm ID - application TBC

I do not possess a 2600 parts book so this is as far as I can go.
