I am planning on installing the Centrline front end rebuild kit and the rear poly kit on my '86 quad this winter. I would also like to install the centerline 410/412 performance springs while I am at it. Is there any gain to installing the springs with stock shocks, or should I wait 'til I can afford bilsteins or koni's?

If your OEM SPICA shocks are good, they will work very well with the yellow springs that Centerline sells... The polyurethane also adds to the firm feel you will notice when going over bumps. And then to complete the dramatic transformation, add a chassis stiffener. You can do all these upgrades independently. Every little bit will help...

Best regards,

Most say to stay away from the bilsteins. The chassis stiffiner is your biggest bang for the buck from what I hear. I'm currently doing the same thing you are. The springs will drop the car about an inch. may need adjustable castor arms, about $200 for the pair. Send me a PM, I'll give you a heads up on the headache spots.
