74 Spyder - I am in the process of replacing my speedo cable. It seems to be stuck in the gearbox. Is there anything I might have missed before I give it a good yank? I have replaced many cables over the years and they always came out pretty easy - curious why this one is so tight.
Thanks in advance.
The cable might have seized in the casing and the drive twisted it in the square drive . Had this happen before, a good hank and if not pull out the speedo drive from the trans and look at it on the bench.
