Hi all -
There's a brief sound when starting my '83 Spider that only happens when it's cold and doesn't seem to affect how the car runs...yet.
The only analogous sound I've come up with is...an odd turkey gobble; a kind of mid-pitched squawk that goes away immediately and doesn't reappear when the car is at running temperature.
I'm not terribly concerned, but wanted to put it out there in case someone knows the sound and says "oh yeah, that's the flux capacitor about to die".
My only thought so far is something with the starter or soleniod.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

the flux capacitor makes a goshawfulOMGI'monfirecomeputmeoutsoonest kinda noise. Mine makes a noise that is kinda equitable to a turkey croaking and it is the pinion gear of the starter in need of cleaning and lubrication but it hasn't warranted my attention yet. ciao, chris
