hi guys,
iv gotta rebuild a dion, because mine has developed some unwanted camber on the passenger side.
so while im at it id like to replace the wheel studs with longer ones and the only ones that the local autoshop has that fit are about 5mm or more shorter than factory and the knurl is oversize 1 or 2mm [i snapped a stud along time ago, and this was all i could get in the short time i had].

can anyone tell me the measurements of a stock stud, in particular the knurl diameter, so i can hunt down longer ones?

otherwise... i might use this chance to convert the pcd to 5x114.4, which i probably should...

thanks

Wheel studs ARP replacements

This is what we're going to for our Lemons cars. This is from the Yahoo Alfaracing group.

Re: [Alfa Racing]: longer wheel studs for Alfetta GT

Some other stud options:

On my GTV6 I used:
Fronts - ARP 100-7713 (RX-7). Opened holes with a reamer.
Rears - ARP 100-7720 (04-05 Miata). Opened holes on a Bridgeport with a 14.5 mm
drill and finsihed with a reamer to get to final size.

ARP gave me similar press fits over the phone (.005"-.006").

They've been in the EP racecar for 4 seasons now with no issues.
