Chatted up a fellow while in Quebec City who owns a Stelvio Quad. He said he loved to drive it, always had to watch his driving, it being so fast, but the four wheel drive was NOT very good in the local snow. I reckoned to him that the car had too much power for good traction in the snow. Far too easy to break everything loose, even with a light throttle touch.

'My hotrod Downton Cooper S was the same. My original 37 hp Morris MiniMinor was super excellent in the snow, could go anywhere, but the 125 hp Cooper S was impossible, not being able to keep a similar tire attached to the road.
