Does anyone know if I can put the steering wheel from my 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider on a 1988 spider. I have a beautiful wooden steering wheel from my wrecked 1982 that I would love to put on my 1988

Yes, but depending on the type of wooden steering wheel, the horn will not work unless you make some significant modifications.
I retrofitted a wooden "Personal" wheel onto my '87 Spider. It required taking the metal (brass?) contact ring off my original wheel and connecting it via a wire to the single wire coming off the Personal wheel. This basically meant ruining the original wheel, but that was fine with me. There are several threads on this forum about different approaches people have taken to retrofit wooden wheels on newer S3 cars.
