Hi all, I just bought an '88 Spider Quadrifoglio and I'm working through some repairs on the front suspension. I noticed that there were two washers/spacers placed between the steering arm and the upright at both mounting holes. I cannot find any documentation or pictures of these washers in the service manual or any exploded views. There's no easy way to say this... it's a six owner car, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone threw these in thinking they were making some kind of adjustment to steering (along with the brilliant move attaching a spring to the clutch throwout arm to return the slave cylinder, but I digress.) They could also be there to prevent interference between components, but I didn't check. See the photo below. Thanks, guys.
