I always assumed that the North American GTV6 had it's front-end lifted to make the U.S. bumper height. From what I can tell however, the lower 'A" arms are level with the ground - these Milano wheels and 205/60's are 23.68"

If the Euro model was lower (see pic), was this accomplished with a different spindle upright or by lowering via torsion bars?

same same - suspect that the picture is misleading due to different tyre diameters 195/60 15 v's 205/60 14

Ride Height

I can't imagine that Alfa would change spindles, when the ride height is adjustable with torsion bar adjustment. We always felt that the USA height was higher for Head light and bumper height.

Tom Zat at Alfa Heaven has told me that the upper arms on the GTV6 were slightly longer on European spec cars due to their lower front end height. This allows for proper camber setting at the lower height. He even produced some offset bushings for the upper arm to duplicate this. He didn't say anything about the Spindles being different.
