Hello,are those trim rings for mounting the light into the car /
and fit the covers over them ?

The rings are chrome strips that fit over the edge of the headlight opening. The rubber strips' go under the chrome and over the rough opening. As you probably know the idea is that with the covers, the headlights are mounted from behind the opening (not in front as in US cars) so you can see the sheet metal edge of the headlight cutout. The chrome rings cover that edge. The US OEM headlight trim rings won't fit under the headlight covers.

Hi Pat, does the alternator have an internal regulator or is it the external regulator type?

The alternator is the external regulator type (three spade connector on the back).
