I ordered what I thought were front sway bar drop links from Classic Alfa but they do not look like the ones on any of my cars. See photos. Supposed to be stock I thought. Any ideas?
THanks

So the one you have on the right is the older style. The one on the left is the new style (86 on, supposedly) with the pin with the ball incorrectly pounded out on it.

Not sure what's going on there. Did the PO remove the pins from the SU102 style drop link to make it fit on an earlier car? Or did you remove the pins somehow when you took them off the car?

If your sway bar has a pin on the end of the arm then it takes the early style. If it has a blade-style arm with a hole in it then it takes the later style.

Apparently 1985 was considered a later model because my 85, 56 and 90 all have the later model sway bar.
Thanks everyone.

So your 56 has a later model sway bar?

Late production 85's can have the 86 and later drop links.

Saw a Pantera on the road today will taking a boat to a customer on Lake Toxaway.

Strange color. Kinda of a green yellowish color.

Have a good weekend.
