What's the purpose of these hoses? Does fuel go thru these lines? What are the correct replacements? They look and feel like some sort of a vacumn line vs. a fuel line.

Those are idle air tubes. At idle, the throttle butterflies should be completely closed and ALL air for the engine passes through those tubes. There's an adjuster in the idle air distribution tower on top of the manifold.

Vacuum tubing works fine as replacement tubing.

Double thanks:). Now I not only know what the're called and what they do, but I know what to use as a replacement:cool:

Thanks Cliff:cool: but I just need to replace the hoses cause one's cracked where it goes in. Just wanted to know before I placed :)o another) an order with IAP.
