My brother and I had a Bonanza mini-bike that we blew up the B&S engine. There was a well-known cart racer living a few blocks away who sold us one of his retired McCulloch racing engines. He threw in a helmet and black leather MC jacket. Dad wanted to try it and we warned him it was scary fast.
He was four-cycling up the street when it suddenly cleared out...he returned with tie askew and hair blown back and said, "I want you boys wearing that jacket and helmet when you ride this thing."

Cool story. I had a powell challenger mini bike and we put in a MAC 10 engine and scared us for a little bit. Jack raced mini bikes in 1969. He built all the Bonanza frames back in the day. He had Irv Kanamoto build the motors. They got all the records but were banned the next year due to small wheel size.
