Almost finished cleaning up my '78 Spider differential. I didn't touch the pinion bearings but I replaced the differential case/carrier bearings. Using the procedure in the shop manual for measuring the slop between the ring & pinion, I need to reduce the case side bearing shim thickness by about 0.004" from 2.00 mm to 1.90 mm. Can anyone suggest a source for these?

Thanks,
Roger

Thanks for the reply Rossano.

For anyone else reading this, I checked the online Misumi catalog today and I can buy "configurable" shims (OD & ID available in 0.5mm size increments and thicknesses of 1.0, 0.5, 0.3, 0.2, & 0.1mm increments for $5.90 each.
