what's the question?
if it is can someone help in importing cars into Oz, then the answer is yes - me. I run an International Freight forwarding office in Perth, Australia and we have a Melbourne office and soon Brisbane.

email me on [email protected].
To quote, i will need origin, destination, vehicle dimensions etc.

But please note well - if you are intending to import a car into Australia, get your import permit approved by DOTARS first! I just shipped an Audi back to the UK because the owner declined to obtain his import permit first. It day here for 6 months and has cost him over A$8000 for nothing.

Permit from The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government Homepage. If it is only a temporary import i.e. for an event then returning back, you will need a Carnet from Australian Customs.

Hi Fast Eddie

To clarify the question is ''How were race cars shipped to Oz in the '60's''! Full details in Giulia GTA, GTAJ, GTaM technical forum above.

Thanks though, I'll remember.
