Every now and then I like to remind Spica owners to test your fuel system inertia switch. That's the switch that disconnects electricity to the fuel pump(s) in the event of a collision. It may prevent a fire if the fuel lines were damaged.

If OEM, it will be located in the engine compartment right side behind the washer bottle. If retrofit it could be anywhere but probably in the trunk.

For those owners of early models, they did not come with inertia switches. Check your car and if there's not switch retrofitted, I highly recommend you install one. They are cheap and easy to install.
