I thought I would share some photos of the recent refresh we did on the S4. I can believe the difference.

Unfortunately when we stared on the rear suspension we noticed some bad welds on the trailing arms and bent bra on the axel tubes. Thankfully a friend had an extra rear end that we could restore.

looks like you are working on an italian market 1600 spider S4, correct?
so twin carb model.

non limited slip axle gave it away (axle housing is missing the "V" in the casting)...;)

S4 spider 1600 has a 9/41 (4.5) non-LSD axle
in Europe the S4 spider 2 litre was LSD and 10/41 (4.1)
