I need to remove my MONOPOD Cluster to replace some bulbs and do a general tune up. Do I have to remove the clam shell before the front plastic frame/bezel for the pod comes out? It doesn't seem possible without breaking something.
Thanks In Advance,
Chuck

I do.

It's only 2 long screws from underneath.

Good luck,

my clamshell has 4 screws
2 towards driver (short ones, easy to remove) and 2 towards engine (long ones, I can only get at them with the knee pad dropped.)....but mine is a euro car so maybe different.

I have taken my Monopod out several times without removing knee pads, clamshells etc...I can do it in 10-15 mins now.

a little how-to I put together, if you want to try
If temps. outside are very cold, best leave it till things warm up. Plastic prefers warm climes.

The two screws towards the engine on the clam shell are covered by the knee bolster. Bummer-- much more involved just to remove.
Thanks,
Chuck
