Hi guys - I have read through the AC threads but cant seem to find an answer. The 82 spyder I own has the BEHR unit added by the dealer and was working somewhat ok but simply turned off whilst driving. Now it will not come on at all.

How do you normally go about troubleshooting this? I was trying to find the fuse but I cant seem to loacte it.

Thanks for your help.

Identified the locations of the fuses. They seem ok - One is a 30Amp and the other a 20Amp. Any other ideas folks?

If your freon is low the compressor and cooling fans won't run. You have to have enough pressure in the system or the pressure switch won't trigger the compressor nor the cooling fans.

You might want to request from the guy who adds the freon, to add some tracer dye, which will be helpful to find a leak, if there is one, and there could likely be one, if you are low. But man, are you going to have a hard time finding someone who still handles R12, and wants to work with it.
