Hi all,
Is there some intructions somewhere on how to access the gauges on an S2?

In the context of S2 Spiders ... RHD if that makes any difference...
The speedo and tach can be accessed by undoing the small hex head bolt at the bottom of each cowl (can't recall - it is 6mm ~ 8mm in size). This allows rim of cowl to be removed, exposing the gauge face, which has a few screws around its chrome bezel to remove -then each gauge can be pulled forward from its cowl, allowing you to remove drive cables and wiring connections. Easy peasy. Just make note of the wiring connections as you remove them. Mobile phone pic, scratchpad and pencil, or taped label on each wire.
The 3 smaller gauges I find 'easiest' to access by removing the glove box lid, followed by the glove box itself. I can then reach behind the gauges to access wiring and fixing brackets for each gauge...these are metal brackets shaped like a U, straddling the back of each gauge, and secured onto studs at the back of each gauge by 2 small nuts.

Thanks Chris, that's very helpful, someone routed the speedo cable through the accelerator linkage rubber grommet on my spider,
