'68 Spider Junior-- weak window winder has quit altogether. Was catching then slipping, now slipping only.
Splines on the handle and shaft are good. Removal of the door panel shows good small and large gear. It appears the winder shaft is turning inside the small gear. I suspect the shaft has a square end that inserts into the small gear. Since the shaft is hardened steel ,likely the inside of the small gear is rounded off. Anyone have experience with these parts? Anyone have a box of spare door parts--- a small gear,please !? Thanks
