Hi Anthony,
Since you are part of the competition board, this question is for you.
I checked the AROC competition code (which AROSC) also uses, and it states that for rollbars, mild steel (ERW or DOM), for a Milano (> 2700 lbs) minimum required tubing spec. is 2.00" outer diameter with 0.120" wall thickness.
Autopower bars which some GTV6/Milano owners use in the AROSC events have ERW tubing with 1.75" outer diameter and 0.120" wall thickness. I'm sure most Milanos weigh in at about 2700 lbs unless totally gutted.
How about rollcages from europe which meet FIA spec?
What is your opinion on this?
Thanks,
Zamani
