I finally got to take the Spider off the jack stands for the first time in months today. I'd forgotten how petite she is when she's on the ground.

I took a few measurements just for the heck of it.

She sits on IAP Red front springs and stock rear springs with Campy Daytonas wearing 14x5/70/ 185's.

The stance of the car appears very level.

Distance from the ground to the lip of the front fender is 23.5 inches
Distance from the ground to the lip of the rear fender is 24.0 inches

Distance from the ground to the top of the front bumper is 17.5 inches
Distance from the ground to the top of the rear bumper is 19.5 inches

Clearance from the ground to the lowest part of the oil sump is -5- inches. That's without a sump guard....

Distance from the ground to the top of the passenger door is 33 inches.

She looks so small in the garage next to the wife's car.

Does anyone know the weight on an early S2 Spider?

Thanks - she really IS a tiny thing.

The curb weight of a Honda Fit is 2489 lbs.
The curb weight of a Toyota Yaris is 2311 lbs.
