I would like to retorque the head bolts (nuts) on my Verde.

Do you have first to loose the nut, oil the stud and then re-torque to the specified value? (one nut at the time, on the proper sequence)

If this is not the right way to do it, could you please provide the correct procedure?

PS, I installed this engine about 10K ago and according to the previous owner it had about 10k (?) after a complete rebuilt with S pistons & cams and Sperry stage III heads

The 164 guys have had a lot of discussion about re-torquing the heads on the V6 - you might want to try a search in the 164 section.
