I'm really enjoying this thread and looking forward to further posts. The work involved in restoring this car looks quite daunting and is of special interesting to me as I have a shell in a similar condition.

Appreciate you sharing your bodywork skills and knowledge.

Perhaps you should also start a youtube channel with video of the project ;)

No :). Please keep the photos coming HERE as they will be around a heck of a lot longer than on YouTube.

Amazing work and a huge help for Spider restorers.

The fact that this much attention is being lavished on a humble Spider is just fantastic! Here in the US you would spend $50-70k to resurrect a Spider in this condition, only to be left with a car worth $25-35k! Bravo for saving this one!

Otherwise, it is completely unprofitable unless you count the passion for Italian cars.😊

A simple "like" is not enough ... wow, she is looking beaut and will soon be one of the few rust free Alfa Spiders on the road!
