Any suggestions for replacements of the two big rubber hoses connecting the oil vapor separator with the Motronic system and the twin-cam casing on a 1991 Spider Veloce. International Auto does not stock - "not supported," they say.
Gre Gordon lists oil vapor separator hose kits for the 82-89 Spiders. I'm not sure how different the hose lengths are on the later Spiders but I believe the hose diameters are the same - i.e. the vapor separator is the same/similar but it is located in a different spot.
The hoses that Greg sells are excellent. I have a set. That said, the OEM hoses have a specific shape, which you will not get with a generic hose. If that shape is important to you, then try one of the European suppliers.
Greg's hoses fit fine on my '91. They are too long so will need to be cut down. They look nice, with black fabric, but do not look original, since as stated here they are not the molded ones as original. No one I could find in the US sells the originals. I did not check European suppliers.
