People,

replacing old mc and wanting to keep the plastic reservoir. Dont have manual in front of me so can anyone advise as to if the reservoir pops offf pretty easily?

Also, once the 4 brake lines unscrew, should the mc detatch pretty easily?

last: what is the mm size of the brake line nuts? 12mm?

Thnaks,, people!

Interesting, I just did this exact job this weekend !!

I used the exact same master cylinder w/o any problems.

To remove the reservoir I put the old MC on the ground, with a foot on each end. I tried to grab the reservoir close as possible to the two nipples and pulled straight up, and with a little persuasion it came out.

I don't exactly know what the 115 designation means, but I think it has something to do with the chassis number (others will correct me on that one).

The 115 number is just the designation number for the series
105 was for duettos and 115 was used from S2's to 94' S4's

older cars had a plate on the firewall in the engine bay with the number on it. I don't know if the newer cars have them though

thnaks, people. I figured it was the 115. So, the plastic box should pull out with some force, I figure(?). Man, hope it doesnt crack. maybe some silicone lube should help it.

Still hoping someone knows the mm size for the nuts......
