replacing all rubber gaskets on my 71 GTV

Hi All,
As spring is beginning to arrive here ni Central NY, I'm going to be able to resume working on my 71 GTV. It came back from the paint shop and it looks incredible. I have a couple of questions. I'm replacing the headliner and was wondering if this needs to be done before starting on the gaskets? I think so but I'm not sure. Another question is if there are detailed drawings on the installation of the gaskets? There's a funky little piece of rubber about 1" long with groves in it and I have no idea what to do with this. I've found gasket drawings at Alfaholics but they don't detail everything. Does someone know where I can find better illustrations of the gasket material?

Thanks

Eric

Do a search on headliners to get some detailed info.... But yes, it goes in before the windows and trim...
Post pictures... Hard to help with a generic description of a part...

Guessing, but perhaps these... Rear quarter window rubber block hinges...

Thanks for the advice and pictures

I'll move this thread to the GT forum. And those pictures are the funky little pieces I was talking about.

Thanks for the advice and the pictures.
